It has nothing cool about it, no blue as mint would have; nothing earthy like olive and nothing garish like lime. The closest thing to it is an image from Nepal itself: the green of young rice plants on the terraces, a few weeks after planting, when the slopes above the valley look freshly painted.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe scarf has no pattern. What structures it is the weave: the thread runs in twill, the diagonal ridge that gives the fabric drape and body. In raking light you can see it running across the whole surface — more clearly with such a light colour than with any dark one.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEight twisted threads of cashmere of \u003cstrong\u003e14.8 microns\u003c\/strong\u003e, the finest we carry. 200 grams on 72 × 204 cm (28 × 80 in), densely woven at 12 gauge.
