What this shop is for
Namaste Kids supports more than 500 children from very poor families, most of them in remote mountain regions of the Himalaya. Over many years, until the end of their schooling, so that they can go to school and grow up healthy.
Every purchase makes a twofold difference. With every item sold, the women who made it are paid. What remains after deducting all selling costs contributes substantially to the work of Namaste Kids e. V. The aim is to break the cycle of poverty and lack of education that would otherwise continue from one generation to the next, so that families become less dependent on donations.

What happens after your order:
1. Orders received by 12 noon on a working day are processed and packed the same day – all others on the next working day.
2. We make sure your order is safe and protected while in transit.
3. You receive tracking details so you can follow your parcel every step of the way.
4. All shipments are insured, so there is nothing for you to worry about.
5. We keep an eye on your parcel during transit, so we can help quickly if there are any problems

Returns are free of charge for you, worldwide. For orders within Germany, a returns label is already enclosed.
On request, we also exchange unworn, unused new goods.

Orders received by 12 noon on a working day are dispatched the same day, all others on the next working day. Delivery times follow the usual DHL delivery times.
Express shipping is available to all countries, for the surcharge charged by DHL.

How to care for your jewellery properly
Handmade jewellery from natural materials needs only little care. With a few simple habits, colours and shine are preserved for a long time.
How to store your jewellery properly
Stored dry, protected from light and safe from scratches, your piece of jewellery stays beautiful for many years.
While wearing
• Take it off before showering, swimming and sport.
• Apply perfume, hairspray and creams before putting it on.
• Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth after wearing.
Cleaning
• If needed, wipe it with a slightly damp cloth and let it dry in the air.
• No aggressive cleaners, no abrasives.
• Treat fabric bands with moisture only in individual spots.
Bands and fastenings
• Do not overstretch elastic bands when putting them on and taking them off.
• Adjust drawstrings loosely, do not pull them by force.
Tip: The less water, cosmetics and friction, the longer your jewellery keeps its colours and its shine.
Correct storage
• Store it clean and completely dry.
• Keep the pieces separately – in a fabric pouch or in the jewellery box – so that they do not scratch one another.
• Store chains hanging or loosely laid out so that they do not become tangled.
Protection
• Protect it from lasting direct sunlight.
• Do not keep it in the bathroom or in damp places.
• Store elastic bands relaxed (unstretched).
Tip: A small fabric pouch for each piece of jewellery is the simplest protection – when travelling too.
