Beautiful, colourful guitar bag made of Himalayan hemp and hard-wearing cotton. It has a small handle at the top for carrying and adjustable shoulder straps. The large, well-padded main compartment, like the smaller front compartment, has a sturdy zip. At the top of the front there is also a small, sturdy pocket without a zip.

Each bag was made by hand in Nepal under Fair Trade conditions and may therefore differ slightly in size and colour from the pictures.

This colourful guitar bag brings a piece of the Himalaya along to your next stage. Made by hand with loving care by experienced artisans in Nepal, it combines traditional weaving craft with pure natural fibres – a companion with just as much character as the instrument inside it.

A design that tells stories

The heart of this bag is its distinctive ethnic pattern. Artfully woven lengthwise stripes run across the body like strings and take up centuries-old motifs of the Himalaya: fine rows of stylised diamonds and crosses of the kind found on traditional Nepalese textiles – motifs that keep a beat all of their own. Each symbol has its origin in the culture of the mountain peoples and has been passed on over generations.

The warm palette of deep red and bright orange, interspersed with fine accents in turquoise and blue, recalls prayer flags in the wind and the festive fabrics of Kathmandu. The lively striped pattern is framed by calm areas of natural, untreated hemp – at the upper neck of the bag and on the front pocket – a contrast that really makes the ethnic design ring out. As each bag is woven by hand, the run of the pattern is unique to every piece: you receive a genuine one-off piece with a melody of its own.

The padded bag nestles around your acoustic or classical guitar and protects it from dust, scratches and small knocks on the way to a rehearsal, to a gig or to a session around the campfire. A roomy zip pocket at the front in natural, untreated hemp keeps plectrums, capo, tuner and sheet music within reach. Thanks to the adjustable shoulder strap and the sturdy carrying handles you can carry it comfortably over your shoulder or in your hand – your hands stay free for what matters.

Care instructions

The combination of tear-resistant hemp and soft cotton gives this bag its robust durability, its pleasant hand and its unmistakable character. With the right care, the natural properties of the fibres and the brilliance of the handwoven ethnic pattern are preserved for many years.

✓ Air it regularly rather than washing it often Natural fibres such as hemp and cotton stay fresh for a long time when aired. It is often enough to let the bag air in the fresh air after use. This protects the fibres and makes frequent washing unnecessary.

✓ Gentle hand washing recommended For cleaning, we recommend gentle hand washing in cold to lukewarm water (max. 30 °C). Use only a mild, pH-neutral detergent without bleach or aggressive additives.

✓ Treat stains locally For smaller marks it is often enough to treat the affected area specifically with a damp cloth and a little mild detergent – from the outside inwards, without rubbing, so that nothing runs.

✓ Do not rub, wring or pull The natural fibres should only be moved gently during washing. Vigorous rubbing, twisting or pulling can impair the handwoven pattern and the structure of the fabric.

✓ Remove moisture gently After washing, press the bag out carefully without wringing it. Then roll it in a clean towel to absorb excess moisture.

✓ Dry lying flat and in shape Let the bag dry in the air in the shade, easing it loosely back into its original shape. Do not tumble dry, as heat can strain the natural fibres and distort the fabric.

✓ Protect from heat and direct sunlight Direct sunlight, radiators or other strong sources of heat can dry out the natural fibres and fade the strong colours of the ethnic pattern.

✓ Store with care Always store the bag clean and completely dry. For longer storage, a breathable fabric bag is advisable, along with natural moth protection, for example cedar wood or lavender sachets. Loosely stuffed, the bag keeps its fine shape.

✓ Slight colour transfer is natural With strongly dyed natural fibres, slight colour transfer can occur – above all in the first few washes. This is a natural process and not a defect in quality. For this reason, wash the bag separately the first few times.

✓ Professional cleaning if needed For heavier soiling, professional cleaning by a cleaner experienced in handling natural fibres is advisable. Always observe the care instructions on the label.
